About Pilesgrove, NJ - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Pilesgrove is a township in New Jersey which is quiet, small and peaceful. It is an ideal place to raise a family and allows for a great deal of outdoor fun! Due to the seasonal weather, you can swim in the summer and sled in the winter. Children are free to explore nature and the outdoors, as well. This is the type of place that many people dream of settling down and having kids.
If you love the outdoors and the soothing sounds and sights of water then this area is chock full of places to go and things to see. The Salem River runs through Pilesgrove and offers beautiful vistas and calming ambience for those who spend time strolling along it. This river is a tributary of the Delaware River which is a major waterway in New Jersey.
If you venture just a small distance out of Pilesgrove, you will find more waterfront fun. Along the Delaware River and in the Delaware Bay, there are many sights to be seen. For example, the Finn’s Point Lighthouse is located in Chery Hill and is an historic landmark that was once used to guide boats traveling on the Delaware River. It has been lovingly restored and revamped more than once over its lifetime of about 300 years and has become a focal point of the township. If you find yourself near the water on a pretty day in spring or summer, you should absolutely check out this little piece of history.
Riverview Beach Park, in nearby Pennsville, is a beautiful waterfront park with a great deal of character and charm. At this park, you will also be able to experience the area’s history as it has been in the town for over 100 years in a variety of capacities. It began as a privately owned hotel property and went through many incarnations before becoming a public park in the 1970’s. It is a lovely place to spend any day of the year whether it be warm or cold but is a great deal of fun in the summer.
